Rachel's 5th Birthday Party
Nearly a year ago, Rachel said she wanted a My Little Pony birthday party for her fifth. I gathered items here and there throughout the year, and then closer to the date, she wanted a different theme. I had asked her multiple times and confirmed that she would not change her mind, so I made her stick to her original plan. To make her birthday extra special though, I wanted to have pony rides. Around here there are limited options for that, and after trying to contact place after place, the only one that came through was a ranch we had visited before. It wasn't my first choice (as we had already been there before, more than once even), but ended up being the only real choice, so that was what we went with. Several guests we invited didn't end up being able to make it, so the party was kind of small, but they all had a BLAST. The ranch is great, and we still got to do pony rides, as well as some of the other fun stuff they have to do there. I'll be honest, I didn't put as much effort in as I usually do for birthdays, mainly because we are going on a Disney Cruise for our tenth anniversary in two weeks and I have SO MUCH to do for that still. (Sorry Rache). We had lots of rainbow-themed food, and I made her a special My Little Pony cowgirl dress that I had to go to the States to get the fabric for. So there's that. Anyway, everyone had so much fun, which is really the main goal. So happy birthday, Baby Bee! We love you!
